The General Tools 841014 Dowel Accessory Kit includes everything needed for wood joining projects. Included in the 17 piece kit are 12 1/4 in. dowel pins, one 1/4 in. brad point drill bit, one 1/4 in. drill stop collar, two 1/4 in. dowel centers and 1 hex key. The dowel pins are of straight-grained hardwood with chamfered ends for easy installation. They are also grooved to accommodate excess glue during insertion. The fluted dowel pins swell on contact with water-based glue for an extra-tight fit. As an FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), certified company, General's Wood Joining Program includes wood based products that are manufactured in accordance with FSC standards.
